Here is the long update that has taken a year to complete. It wont be that long. I still work for Elkhart Civic Theatre, but not as the intern anymore. My new title is Office Manager and Assistant Technical Director. Which means that I am still doing all of the work that I was as an intern. Got a pay raise and benefits; which is always good. Moved to a better apartment away from the creepy people living in the old one. Trust me most of them were very creepy. Even by my standards. I share this one with an older gay gentleman, who makes me want to smother him atleast twice a week. Has gotten a little bit better though. Still leaves loads of clothes in the dryer for days, but that I can get over. Basically he has all the apartment and I have my room. But I do have a bathromm in there which is nice. He seems to think that I never leave my room and wishes that I would come out more. Only he watches CNN till one and smokes alot. Id rather stay in my comfort zone. CNN is fine for short periods of time. Not for HOURS. The truck is doing well. Last week I had to give up about a grand to get the inner tie rods and ball jonits changed. There went that paycheck and my savings. Interesting thing was that when I was picking her up, the mechanic that did the work told me in hushed tones that the transmision was slipping. Which just made me want to bang my head against the closest wall. Have a wedding to go to this weekend in Temperance Michigan. Have a dress and pink shoes, yes that is right I will be wearing pink show and a dress. Takes pictures while you can, cause I doubt that it will happen again. If there is something else that I have missed, well then it must not have been to important. Although I can barely remember what I had for lunch; let alone what I've done in the past year.

well since I finally have some time to sit without having to get right back up and do more work, thought that I would update on my life. Well now that I am a pseudo-adult, things are interesting. I dont really see myself as an adult just yet. I think its just foolishness, but it works for me. Indiana is pretty good for me right now. Meeting a lot of new people and learning more about theatre than what I really wanted to. It feels weird to be the new kid in the department again. Dont really know how I like that all that much. My boss is pretty cool, but he really doesnt know how to delagate. He has me that works in the shop in the mornings and in the office in the afternoons and another intern that works just in the afternoons. But the problem with working in the shop is that he never tells me what he wants me to do. So I stay in the office getting other things done when I could be building. But I cant leave the office in the afternoon cause I need to answer the phones and be near the computer for tickets and such. Its just crazy. Decided that I was going to do crew for Beauty and the Beast. Thought that I was going to be on run crew cause I knew where the pieces were and how everything was put together. But, sigh, I am one of 3 on the fly rail. We have 8 drops, the scrim, a house, castle, fireplace and 2 people that fly in and out through out the show. My arms hurt just thinking about it. So we shall see how well that goes. Living here is interesting to say the least, because for the most part everything is the same as Michigan. Actually when im at work, the Michigan border is 3 minutes away. But yeah. I live kinda by an amish farm so its really easy to play amish or not on the way to work. Well more important matters await me. Not really but still.

So many of you may be thinking that I have fallen off the face of the planet. This is not true is the least. Well partially. Now that I am a college graduate things are starting to look up a little bit.

No Im not going to medical school. Yes some of you are going to hit me upside the head, but I am willing to take the concussion. Im taking a year off to pursue my theatre skills and see where that takes me. So far Ive had an interview with the Bristol Opera House in Bristol Indiana and just today I was told to go over to the Croswell Opera House in Adrian because they are looking for someone in the same position. Both arnt the best paying jobs, but it will give me experience and financial support so that I can live. I really want the Bristol job because I would like to leave the state. Yeah I know thats a stupid reason to want a job ,but its true.

Alright the world is alittle bit better than it has been in previous days. Its still grey outside and that makes me sad, but we got out of lab really early today and I was ableto finish my homework for Nickelby, which is always a plus. And tonight I have to study for that Damn Ecology test that was sprung on us yesterday that we have to take tomorrow. Weatherby is getting on mny nerves with all of these tests. But the good thing is that I have figured out a way to talk to the boy. He was in Ecology last year, and would be a good reference to help me study. Yes I know that Meghan and Pam were in the class last year also but they are not the boy.
So I dont get to watch the entirety of the greatest game in the entire world because we have seussical this weekend and I said that I would do Sound for it, not realizing that there was a 2 matinee. Which means I wont be able to watch the game till atleast 5. Which means that I am going to be running out of Dawson over to the house, watch the last of the game, grab a beer and some pizza, make fun of Kohn because OSU lost, run back to Dawson, get all the people back into their mic packs and then run the show again. I dont think that saturday is going to be a sober day for me. Nope im pretty sure that it wont be a sober day. oh well

Ok so the first thing that I need to go crazy over is the fact that the BCS championship game is going to be on January 8th. No no no no no no! That is not when it should be. It should be on New Years Day. Who said that they get to fuck around with the dates. I didnt and I dont think that anyone else would be happy about this either. Fucking retards.

Ugh. Well now that i have that out of my system. Bet most of you thought I was dead and drowning in a ditch somewhere in a corn field. Well neither of those is true, for the moment. School is still the same old shit that it always is, becasue well things just dont seem to get exciting anymore. I hang out with people and go to class and do school work, but nothing really lively has happened in a while. Who knows maybe now that football season is over on this campus, things might change. I doubt it, but eh.

Found out the other day that I am painfully obvious when i flirt. So much so that even I dont know that im doing it but everyone else sees it. Its also sad that apparently i cant tell when someone is flirting with me. Even though I think that is a load of bullshit, because he wasnt.

I really need a drink. But I have to finish so many projects and I dont have the energy to go and get things to drink. Yeah I know its sad but today is just a gloomy day that should be spent under the covers or in a really deep hole.

well it is the first dat of classes and i really dont care to learn anything more. Its not that i believe i have learned everything, its just that i really donty feel like cramming more things into my brain than are already in there. Moving in was fine saturday, except for the fact that my room looked better after only an hour of working on it and Karen has been here since thursday. Figure that one out. I cany wait till my birthday. it feels so surreal that its been 21 years since i was born. I know i shouldnt be going thorugh a mid-life crisis right now, but it seems like the best thing to do. I have to work today, well not really work cause i doubt that any of the other workers in shop will actually show up since it is the first day of class. Oh shit forgot to call the girl to the ice cream social. Annissa will beat me. Too bad. Just looked at my anatomy flashcards on my windowsill. They look so lonely. Maybe ill have to break those out in the morning just to see if i remember anything. Did i mention that i really dont want to go to class? yeah i guess i did. Oh if anyone wants to go to the bar on monday night at 12am let me know because we are doing a celebratory shot. not the full blow out celebration, that wont be till wednesday night. But let me know if you want to go to that too. or either. or neither. and if its neither,then poop on you. Alright time to go get ready for the morning.

Ok well i guess that I should update at least a little bit before I go back to school on Saturday. Well the summer is almost over, I still have no car, Took the MCAT, and plan to drink myself silly in just a few days.

Yeah that is my life. Well back to that thing that made my soul cringe. The MCAT... lets say that the night before barely got any sleep and what little sleep i did get was spent with my flashcards all over my bed. Had so many pencils and pens, that I think I could have given one to everyone in the room and still had some to spare. I dont think that I did bad, I just dont know how I did.

So lets see: work today is making life hell. using the computer in the office because Linda loves me and beleives that I should sit for a little while in a compy chair. Hectic is what work is especially since 3 people called off because"they were sick" I know these people, sick is not what is wrong with them. Plus working later is evil. oh well back to work. I HATE HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oH AND WHOMEVER THOUGH IT WOULD BE FUNNY TO CALL ME AT 3 THIS MORNIN HAD BETTER PRAY FOR THEIR LIVES. My first total day off from work in a very long time and what do i spend it doing... laundry. Cant help it, I really needed socks and shirts. Well life is still going crazy for atleast the next little while. Still trying to figure out the brain of males over the age of 20. Doesnt seem to be working all that well though. Last night at work got into a play fight with branden because he was chosen to stay late to clean up even though I had offered myself. Hey it would have been atleast another hour of getting paid. But branden got volunteered and then pouted for a good long while. It was most amusing. Poor anthony had his wisdom teeth out yesterday and then had to go to work today I think. That guy just doesnt have any luck. Oh I went to Target yesterday in my hour before I had to be at C.V. and found these cute flip-flops that have the tootsie pop owl on them. They are supposed to only go up to a size 7, but for a dollar I just couldnt resist. Maybe on Sunday ill hit up the second hand store to see if they have any crazy owls. Need to build up my stock for senipr wills. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa. oh so bored

Ok so is it bad that I dont even remember what day it is anymore?
All I know is that for the past 3 days double shifts have been my life.
Friday and saturday were planned, but did not expect to get a phone call at 7 this morning,
which by the way killed a wonderful dream that involved a sexy irish boy. Need I say more.
Also todays party sucked cause people dont know how to get places on time.
I hate stupid little high school girls that I have to work with. The worst happens tomorrow
when I have to work the De La Salle Post graduation celebration. Nothing against you Cam
but I really hate your high school right now.
Wasnt life supposed to get a little bit easier now?
Michelle call me to see if our schedules click, I might be working this weekend just to give you a heads up.
